Painted Tree is designed to bring people closer to nature, art and especially each other. Whether strolling hand-in-hand by the lake, exploring the trails as a family, splashing down at the Village Trailhead pool with friends or simply chatting with your neighbor on the front porch, togetherness is the natural state of being around here. That’s just the beginning of all the ways we get together.
Painted Tree takes after its hometown of McKinney, Texas. Where people come together for festive occasions large and small. It all started with our Grand Opening Festival and Home Tour last September when thousands from around the region came out to help us launch Painted Tree.
The event featured live music, tasty food, stilt walkers, rock climbing, a crafts fair and the first-of-its-kind ribbon eating ceremony by Taco the Goat, officially welcoming all to the community and into 10 brand new model homes (now 13). By all accounts it was the party of the year.
Then there are the weekly get-togethers organized and hosted by Pam Shields, Painted Tree’s Community Engagement Officer. From Food Truck Fridays and weekly happy hours to seasonal gatherings like the recent Spring Break Craftopia, the lifestyle program is designed around the residents themselves and what they really enjoy.
The vibrancy highlights an undeniable sense of community, which gets stronger every day. As Painted Tree grows so will the variety of things to do and the number of fun-loving people that do it. And always together.
