When we set out to create Painted Tree, we found inspiration in the natural beauty of our land, the artful vibe of McKinney, Texas, and the simple joy of getting together. It turns out, Painted Tree’s vision resonates with a lot of people because we suddenly find our little trailside community ranked among the country’s most popular places to buy a new home, according to two different studies.
Painted Tree is number 48 in RCLCO’s Top-Selling Master Planned Communities of 2023. Then, Painted Tree jumps up to 36th place in a similar list by John Burns Research & Consulting. To be recognized by the industry’s top voices is an honor and to be ranked among well-known and long-established communities in our grand opening year is humbling. But to be discovered by so many families who share our values so quickly is truly a blessing.
Of course, it helps that Painted Tree is located in McKinney. And that our builders are crafting a variety of the most beautiful homes in Texas connected to over 200 acres of trail-woven natural space including a lake and three National Park-inspired community centers. One of which—Village Trailhead—is now open and being enjoyed by our first residents. The Outpost is scheduled to open later this year and the Lakeside Trailhead & Pool after that, along with miles of new trails, making Painted Tree an even more desirable place to live.
